Collaborators

Partners

We are grateful and proud of our partners support that allows us to accomplish our mission.

Collaborators

Collaborations with universities and research labs, both national and international, allow us to host undergraduate, master’s, and PhD interns who take on active roles in our research programs. These collaborations are valuable at many levels: interns bring expertise, help carry out projects, collect and analyze data, and often contribute as volunteers across various initiatives.

Working with national and international researchers allows us to share methodologies, data, and results. In many cases, we also support one another with materials, equipment, and infrastructure. As active members of the scientific community, our research center provides open access to the data and findings we generate.

Partnering with local, regional, and international organizations strengthens our work within the community. These collaborations help us exchange knowledge, contacts, and often combine efforts to accelerate progress and share costs.

We also welcome participation from all of Mahahual’s stakeholders, dive centers, hotels, restaurants, fishers, youth, and elders, in both active and passive coral reef restoration. Your support is vital to making this project a success.

We are especially grateful to our financial collaborators, who make it possible for us to continue working toward the conservation of Mahahual’s coastal-marine ecosystems and the sustainable development of the local community.
